Due to limited staffing on Saturdays, appointments are generally limited to routine wellness exams and minor medical problems. If you are bringing your pet in for a sick exam, you may be asked to fast your animal for at least 12 hours for bloodwork, as well as to bring a urine or stool sample, depending on the nature of the problem. If you are a new client or have a new pet, please bring all pertinent medical records and vaccination history. Limited evening hours for routine wellness exams are available by appointment only on Mondays through Thursdays.

Pre-Surgical
All animals undergoing a surgical procedure are given a complete exam by the surgeon the morning of the procedure. If you have questions for the surgeon or would like to meet the surgeon when you drop off your pet, please notify the receptionist when you schedule the procedure. If you are a new client, we require that you schedule a pre-surgical appointment to discuss the procedure, cost estimates, and post-operative care.

Technician Appointments
For your convenience, we offer technician appointments throughout the day for nail-trims, ear-cleanings, anal gland expression, bandage changes, suture removal, blood draws, and vaccine boosters. Technician appointments are not scheduled with a doctor.

Drop-Offs
If your schedule does not allow you to bring your pet in during our regularly scheduled office hours, you can drop off your pet in the morning for one of our doctors to examine. Please leave multiple contact numbers where you can be reached to discuss pertinent medical history and treatment options.

Bloodwork
Most appointments for bloodwork can be scheduled as a technician appointment. Many blood tests require the animal to be fasted for at least 12 hours prior to blood collection. There are some tests that require your pet to stay in the hospital for several hours, in which case we ask that you drop your pet off and return when the test is completed. The doctor who ordered the test will call when test results are available.
