Lynn has been at Milford Animal Hospital for too many years to count (more than 30!). She is a lifelong Milford resident and resides in town with her husband Jim and their English Cream Golden Retriever, Jigs. When she is not walking and training Jigs, she is fishing in the Long Island Sound.


After moving to Milford in 1994, Janet joined MAH having worked in zoos, exotic animal hospitals, and companion animal facilities in FL and VA. With their youngest in college, Janet and her husband spend their free time training their dog for hunt tests, going to collegiate horse shows, and rediscovering old pastimes.


Betsey has been working as a veterinary technician since 1998 when she and her family moved back to New England after eight years living in Washington State. Presently sharing the family abode is Buzby, an American Eskimo rescue.


Starting in the fall of 2012, Miriam has been working as a veterinary technician since 2006, after graduating from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology. Her interests include horses, hockey, music, cooking, and the outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her 3 pets, a Puggle mix named Waffle, and two rescue kitties named Tim and Turtle.


Barb joined the MAH team in April of 2013. She received her Bachelors degree in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut and has been in the veterinary field since 2004. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors (hiking and running). She has two cats, Casey and Sookie.


Heather is presently a student at UCONN with a major in Animal Science. She attended Trumbull’s Regional Biotechnology and Agriculture Center for high school, and while there, she spent most of her free time shadowing our doctors at MAH. She is now a Veterinary Assistant at MAH and plans on applying to veterinary school when she graduates in 2020.


Emily started working at Milford Animal Hospital in September of 2017. She grew up in New Jersey, but came to Connecticut to earn her bachelor's degree in marine biology from the University of New Haven. She now lives in Milford with her husband, Brendan, their German Shepherd Blitz, and her cat Binx. In her spare time she enjoys reading and being outside as much as possible.


Ashley started working at Milford Animal Hospital in January 2018. She graduated from Mount Ida College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2016. While at Mount Ida, she was a member of their student chapter of NAVTA (National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America). Prior to graduation, she completed (6) 130 hr. internships at small animal hospitals in Connecticut and Massachusetts. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and traveling to new places. She has a Boxer/Brittany spaniel mix rescue named Ebony.


Giys is originally from Syria where he worked as a veterinarian. He started working at MAH in July 2019 as a veterinary technician while getting ready to meet the requirements for US
veterinary license through ECFVG certification with the American Veterinary Medical Association. In his free time Giys likes working out and riding his bike whenever chance is available.


Devin joined Milford Animal Hospital in August of 2019. Born and raised in Norwalk, she has been in the veterinary field for 6 years and plans to become a certified technician. She also has plans to make the move to Milford with her boyfriend this fall. When Devin is not at work she enjoys wine tasting with friends, camping, kayaking, and being home with her two tuxedo fur children Sylvester and Zombie Gurl.


Lindsay joined the MAH team in August of 2020. After working in the human medical field she made the switch to veterinary medicine in 2015. While working at a small animal practice, she attended NWCCC’s veterinary technician program, graduating in 2018. Later that year she achieved her veterinary technician certification. Lindsay has 4 four-legged children: two Chihuahuas Billie and Jack, a pit bull named Sharkie and a pit mix named Rexi. She is expecting her first two-legged child in May. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her partner Dylan and fur babies. Fun Fact! After working at MAH for a month, Lindsay discovered that she and fellow technician Miriam are actually long lost second cousins!


Ruth joined the MAH team in June of 2020. She grew up in Milford, but has lived all over CT, always with an animal or 3 in the house (and 17 once, in fact). After receiving a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the University of Hartford, she joined her aunt Lynn at MAH to train as a technician after two years as a veterinary receptionist at another CT hospital. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, jewelry making, traveling, and enjoying time outside with four-legged hiking partners Carly and Khaleesi.


Amy joined the MAH team in October of 2020 after being in the veterinary field for four years. She recently completed her Veterinary Assistant Certification course at Middlesex Community College. She has two cats named Ralph and Rudy. When she’s not working, she is usually playing video games or searching for new TV shows to watch.
