VETERINARY CARE FOUNDATION

When your animal passes away, we make a donation in your pet’s name to the Veterinary Care Foundation (VCF). The Veterinary Care Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation created for the specific purpose of helping veterinary practices offset the cost for veterinary care for customers with financial hardships. Funds donated to the VCF are then earmarked for our Good Samaritan Fund, where our Advisory Board determines how the funds will be distributed. To qualify for VCF funds, the individual must be an active client of Milford Animal Hospital who has never used VCF funds before. The client must also apply and be denied for Wells Fargo Health Advantage (a health care financing plan that is accepted at many medical offices, both animal and human). The pet must also have a survivable condition.
